Overview
e-CITIZEN is a computer skills certification programme from ICS SKILLS. The programme caters for those with a limited knowledge of computers and the internet and enables them to develop their ability in those areas.
It focuses on making the candidates aware of available online information and service resources from a wide variety of areas including: news, government, consumer, travel, education/training, employment, health and business. The candidate will be able to confidently interact with online service providers and carry out routine tasks such as buying a CD or book, paying a bill, banking online, completing a tax return or making a holiday reservation.

*This programme is funded as part of the FÁS Competency Development Programme, also known as One Step Up. Funding of approximately 75% is available to eligible individuals, i.e. those in private sector employment or the self-employed.
